The
Company:
Craft Technologies, Inc. is a
testing laboratory specialized in analyzing nutrients, carotenoids,
vitamins, bioflavonoids, and phytochemicals. We analyze dried blood
spots, serum, tissue, food, feeds, raw ingredients, finished products
and nutraceuticals. We are a client-focused lab that prides itself
in identifying the most appropriate methods of analysis rather than
“canned” methods. The management team has over 60 years
of combined experience in nutritional analysis and method development.
We do not do EVERYTHING, but we strive to be the BEST at what we
DO.
The
Mission:
Craft Technologies, Inc. is a
nutritional biochemistry laboratory specializing in the analysis
of vitamins, carotenoids, and phytochemicals in biological materials
and foods. We provide personalized, prompt, accurate, and confidential
analytical services to industry, government, and academia.
Craft Technologies, Inc.(CTI) is committed to impacting the world
around us by using cutting-edge technology to identify and measure
dietary components and biochemical markers of nutritional status.
In addition, CTI is committed to impacting our community by providing
employment, being a good corporate citizen, and contributing a portion
of corporate profits to worthy causes.
The
Vision and History:
CTI began with a vision to provide
two things:
1) laboratory analysis of carotenoids and vitamins for epidemiology
studies
2) methods of testing for nutritional deficiencies in the most needy
parts of the world.
CTI started with a single HPLC
and one office computer in 1000 sq. ft of leased space. Our first
contracts were with the National Institutes of Health and the National
Cancer Institute. Since our humble beginnings we have performed
nutritional analysis of samples from over 15 developing countries
and our clients include over 25 academic institutions and 10 fortune
500 companies.
CTI was founded by Neal and Marietta
Craft.
